Why a catch-all shelf is useful
Genre pages filter hard, which is usually good. But it also buries anything that refuses to sit still — a tower defence with idle elements, a mining sim with RPG stat allocation, a puzzle game with a prestige loop. Those hybrids are often where the most interesting design happens.
